Dr. Christopher Anjema, MD, FRCS(C) trained at the Ivey Institute at The University of Western Ontario in Ophthalmology. His fellowship training was completed at Emory University, Atlanta Georgia. He has been practicing in the Chatham-Kent area since July of 2004. He is involved with researching new treatments in several areas such as:

      • New intraocular lens implants for cataract surgery
      • New Glaucoma drops and therapies
      • Anti-VEGF medications for macular disease

 

Dr. Anjema is the Medical Director of the Anjema Surgical Centre, a College approved Level 2 facility. He teaches medical students, family medicine residents and senior ophthalmology residents from medical schools across Canada. He has been selected by multinational eye care companies, including Alcon Laboratories and Abbott Laboratories, as a model practice for Canadian and US Surgeons.

He has been married to Michelle since 2009 and they have 4 children. Dr. Anjema and family reside in Chatham-Kent.
